page-17a                     Leslie Rosdol <> ink pen on paper 5-1/2" x 8" water damaged 1979
This was drawn while living in Los Angeles. It is a story about relationships. Leslie Rosdol is the center figure.
I met her in college years before and looked her up in LA.
The body language tells the story. I am riding past balanced on a bike, yet there is no bike. I am passing by and waving.
Leslie is smiling and waving, yet neither Leslie or I have turned to face the other. It's just a casual aquaintence, with defined boundary as people grow distant.
The figure on far left is an ideal? She represents a subdued, quiet life which I prefer.
Holes in the picture are cat claws. The picture was left by an open window during a rain. The bleeding ink arguably ruined the work, or it might illustrate the accidental fate of any piece of art, much like the lives of people.

-Furthur changes were not made, but could be made with the pattern stamp tool to remove more water stain, or made using Enhance, adjust color, replace color, use eyedrop to select background color or select the blue water stain,  and then use sliders to change that color.
