| The 8-Piece series below was done in 2001. Each was outlined with a pen. Two pictures needed nothing but the outline. Other 6 were filled with colored pencil <> the colored pencil was blended with paint thinner using cloth and brush. The story is about a person who is forced late in life to head out on the road again only to discover that age makes the trip too difficult <> setting up camp at night requires bending and preparation and the person must return home in order to defend what is left. These pictures reflect the increasing difficulty I faced in my early 50's. |
