| This picture was done with a coat of oil paint on primed, pre-stretched canvas. The color and composition jump off the screen. The quality would benefit from underpainting, but I knew nothing about painting. I painted a few canvases during this brief period, and never painted with oil again. Lack of immediacy was primary reason for abandoning oil paint. | |
