The piece is on the back of a color-copy of a school lesson. The paper was torn unevenly at the bottom and had water stains that bled through. I cut the paper off at the top 1/3rd and taped it back together. From there the piece evolved to include a piece of aluminum foil and tear-off ring from a milk carton plus a head drawn on yellow lined paper.
The purpose was to build art from whatever is at hand. This could be called trash art <> but imagine the interesting art lost over the centuries because it was not 'fashionable' in its time. Cultures purge art the same as it purges criminals.
