Pine trees: study for boat on water |
||||||||
This
is a 2-piece series. I did a study first.
I was shocked that I could draw the same thing more than once. My art tells a story. The best story is effortless the first time. Telling it again dilutes the raw feeling. To tell it again, I have to change media to maintain a fresh component, but the story is never the same. This proves that part of any story is the tools and surface used by the artist. In this case, the pen on yellow paper produced a far-away mood. |
